The technology of gob-side entry retaining without coal pillar roof cutting and pressure relief can reduce the amount of roadway excavation and improve the recovery rate of coal resources. However, due to the influence of repeated mining, the influencing factors of roadway surrounding rock control are complex. Taking 2306 roadway of No.8306 Face in Dadougou coal mine as the research background, the theory of gob-side entry retaining without coal pillar is analyzed, and the support scheme of gob-side entry retaining without coal pillar is designed and analyzed by numerical simulation. Practice shows that the support scheme is reasonable and effective, which is of great significance to realize safe and efficient mining without coal pillar.
