Abstract: In the process of working face recovery, the scope and intensity of dynamic pressure in the two roadway of the working face were different. After mining, the coal seam roof started to bend, sink and collapse, and it took some time from roof collapse to stabilization, therefore, different locations of the roadway in the process of leaving the roadway not only needed to strengthen the original support of the roadway, but also needed to use temporary support to ensure the stability of the roof of the roadway. According to the different force characteristics of the surrounding rocks of the roadway along the gob-side entry in Xingtai Mine, the roadway was divided into 3 zones, over-front support zone (20 m before the working face), over-back temporary support zone (0~100 m after the frame) and roadway stabilization zone (after 100 m after the frame), and different strengthening support measures were taken in different zones according to the actual situation.
