In order to solve the problem of serious instability and damage of surrounding rock in the early stage of retaining roadway of 12505 transportation lane in Malan Mine of Xishan Coal and Electricity, field survey, theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and other research methods were used to investigate the damage of surrounding rock on the roadway. Under the influence of the first mining, the development depth of the surrounding rock plastic circle was about 7.0 m. The combined reinforcement method of shallow grouting and deep grouting was designed. Numerical simulation results showed that the method can effectively control the displacement of surrounding rock. The monitoring of displacement of surrounding rock during field application showed that during the stay of the 12505 transportation roadway after grouting, the top and bottom plates approached a maximum of 468 mm, the two sides approached a maximum of 104 mm, and the section shrinkage was 16%, which met the need after repair.
