During the mining process of working face with hard roof and thin seam, the surrounding rock along the roadway is affected by mining to cause large deformation of surrounding rock. The floor heave phenomenon is particularly serious, which seriously affects the safe and orderly high-speed production of the working face. In this paper, the 2213 machine-rail combined roadway at the 8213 working face of Jiangjiawan Mine was taken as the research object. Through theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, and on-site monitoring, the floor heave control technology of the thin coal seam along the goaf was studied. An industrial test was carried out to achieve the purpose of controlling the floor heave of the roadway.
