In order to fully grasp the distribution law of the "three zones" of spontaneous combustion in the goaf of the 10-428B fully mechanized mining face, by analyzing the principle of the "three zones" of spontaneous combustion in the goaf, the analysis was carried out by numerical simulation. The sampling test and gas monitoring methods were used at the 10-428B working face to carry out the actual measurement and analysis of the indicator gas and the oxygen concentration field in the goaf. The comprehensive numerical simulation and field measurement results determined the distribution pattern of the three zones of "spontaneous combustion" in the goaf. The results showed that the "three-zone" distribution pattern of the goaf of the 10-428B working face, the heat dissipation zone was 0 ~ 28 m, the oxidation zone is 28 ~ 52 m, and the asphyxia zone was greater than 52 m from the working surface.
