Hidden geological anomalies are one of the important hidden dangers in coal mine production. In order to explore the geological anomalies of the working face, the types and spatial distribution of geological hazards in the 4806 working face based on the results of various exploration methods such as three-dimensional earthquakes, transient electromagnetics, natural geomagnetic waves, logging and drilling were identified. And developmental conditions, its geological causes were comprehensively explained. The results showed that the anomalous area of the 4806 working face was a fault geological anomaly formed by tectonic action, not a karst subsidence column. The anomalous body had a certain water abundance, and the fault communicates with the limestone aquifer of the Taiyuan Formation. Therefore, treatment must be taken in advance. It can only be recovered after passing the comprehensive method verification again.
