In order to effectively solve the problem of high gas content in the working face along the gob-side entry of No.2 Mine 97307 working face of Sihe Mine, based on the characteristics of "Y" type ventilation of the working face, the design of gangue blocking was carried out, and the gas management scheme of combining the coal seam + high drilling + buried pipe extraction is determined for the working face, combined with the characteristics of the working face, the design of each extraction measure parameter was carried out, and the gas extraction amount was recorded during the workface recovery period, and the gas content in the upper corner and return air flow during the recovery period was monitored and analyzed. The results showed that the extraction efficiency of the working face was high under the existing ventilation and extraction scheme, and there was no gas overrun at the working face, which provided a guarantee for the efficient mining of the working face.
