In order to solve the coal mining problem of spontaneous combustion of gas and coal, the integrated technology of high-drilling gas drainage and high-borehole grouting was adopted to prevent coal spontaneous combustion, and the technology of nitrogen injection to replace harmful gases in the goaf for comprehensive treatment was applied. The problem of spontaneous combustion of gas and coal in the goaf of Changping Mine 10414 working face was analyzed. The results showed that, under the implementation of the technical measures of high-level borehole gas drainage, grouting and harmful gas replacement in the goaf area, the gas concentration continued to decrease and eventually stabilize below 0.2%,at the same time, the oxygen concentration in goaf of return air corner stabilized in the safe range of about 5%.
