Combined with the characteristics of deep high ground stress, coal and rock mass flow and the characteristics of mine pressure in roadway surrounding rock in Dongpang Mine, a new method of excavating large holes in deep area of coal side and arranging control system for continuous large deformation control was proposed to resist the large deformation of surrounding rock in deep roadway. Through continuous displacement monitoring, the secondary or multiple pressure regulating hole system was arranged in time to cope with the primary hole sealing caused by the influence of strong dynamic pressure and the continuous creep in the deep area of roadway coal body, maintain the stability of roadway support system, improve mine production efficiency, optimize the working environment of workers, and promote the safe, efficient and intensive development of deep mines.
