In order to analyze the support effect of the air return roadway in the 2091 working face of Xinyuan Coal Industry, the method of on-site measured data analysis was used for research. First, according to the content of the roadway observation, a scientific selection of the roadway observation equipment was carried out, and a reasonable monitoring plan was designed. Statistical analysis and drawing analysis on the observation data were performed, the movement and damage of the surrounding rock was restrained by fully strengthening the supporting system, the strength of the surrounding rock was maintained, and a common bearing system of the supporting components and the surrounding rock was formed, with high pre-tension force at one time. The support system was reasonable and effectively reduced the deformation of the roof; the roadway adopted top-bottom mining and a high pre-tightening and strong primary support system. Compared with the roadway driving along the bottom and retaining the top coal, the support system significantly reduced the movement and destruction of the surrounding rock, and the integrity of the road ledge restrains the sinking of the roof, with integrity of the roof.
