In order to ensure the safe mining of No.132lower04 Face in Jizhong Energy Resources Group Co., Ltd., avoid air leakage in gob-side entry retaining and eliminate the hidden danger of spontaneous combustion, three schemes of pre-splitting roof cutting, air leakage blocking in goaf and fire prevention and control were formulated during the period of gob-side entry retaining. The specific measures were to block the stress transfer from working face to gob-side entry retaining after mining, and to use composite slurry materials (cement, clay, water glass, glass fiber, water ) to spray and seal the gob-side and roadway roof. The pneumatic inhibitor atomization device was used to implement atomization inhibition and spraying inhibitor on working face, supplemented by comprehensive fire prevention and control measures such as beam tube monitoring and manual detection. From the beginning of retaining roadway in No132lower04 Face to the end of mining, the footage of 390 m coal roadway was saved, and 5 000 t more coal pillars were recovered, which eliminated the hidden danger of spontaneous combustion and ensured the safe mining of working face.
