Aiming at the needs of underground personnel positioning system in Yitian Coal Industry, the design objectives of underground personnel positioning system were determined, and the design of positioning system functions, software and hardware were carried out. The application results showed that the system operated stably and reliably, realized the function of real-time positioning of underground personnel, improved the efficiency of underground personnel, reduced the incidence of underground accidents, and ensured the safety of underground personnel.
