Abstract：When filling gob-side entry retaining with high water material, the gob-side entry retaining may still produce large deformation under the complex stress state, which is very unfavorable to gob-side entry retaining. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt appropriate methods to strengthen the support of gob-side entry retaining. Taking the specific situation of gob-side entry retaining in Dengmaotong Mine as an example, this paper analyzes the ways to strengthen the support of gob-side entry retaining, mainly including the roof maintenance above the filling area, the strengthening support of the entry retaining section and the strengthening support of the filling body, which can provide some technical guidance for the gob-side entry retaining of high water materials.
