Taking return airway of 22117 working face as an example, surrounding rock deformation and failure mechanism were analyzed. FLAC simulation was used to analyze mutual relation of bolt number, bolt diameter, bolt number of row spacing, anchor length, anchor and roof subsidenceolt number, bolt diameter, bolt number of row spacing, anchor length, anchor and roof subsidence. Supporting scheme of return airway of 2217 working face was put forward and it achieved good application effect.
