Mining of coal face had a severe effect on strata behaviors, which went against adjoining rock stability and caused support engineering problems. Taking 020903 air return way in Pinggou Mine as example, FLAC3D numerical simulating technique was adapted to environmental change of surrounding rock stress, course deformation characteristics and bearing structure. The analysis showed that 902 air return way was close to surrounding rock stress goaf, at the same time, it was affected by stress superposition of surrounding rock in 903 working face. Complete changes of surrounding rock stress had bad influence on good deformation rate, high deformation value and support. As a result, combined supporting scheme “anchor cable+ rock bolt+ steel ladder beam+ net was put forward in 903 air return way to protect help top of surrounding rock in roadway which using its self bearing capacity to realize surrounding rock control of mining influenced roadway.
