Similar Simulation Test for Large Section Roadway Controlled by Cable Truss

To study the advantage of cable truss to support the large section, on the condition of mining thick coal, using the method of similar simulation test, the contrast test of roadway support between cable truss and traditional signal cable was done, and the roof subsidence and the stress range of bottom rock were obtained. The results shows that the deformation of cable truss roadway is smaller than the traditional cable with the same conditions of stress and roadway section size, but the vertical stress of monitoring in cable truss roadway side bottom is higher than the traditional cable roadway. So, in order to give full play to the performance of cable truss support, it is necessary to support the roadway side and keep it stable.
