2-100B1 roadway coal column size of Ganhe Mine was taken as example, theory analysis and numerical simulation were adopted to study the reasonable size of coal column and high prestress anchor bolt and cable surrounding rock control technology, based on the prestress distribution, combined with the actual situation on site, the width of coal column was set as 10 m. Based on existed roadway support theory, guided by numerical simulation analysis, prestress anchor bolt and cable support and support parameters were settled and tested, the result showed that high prestress anchor bolt and cable support technology had a good effect for mining influenced area roadway surrounding rock deformation control, improved the mining rate of the Ganhe Mine, provided reference for small coal column protecting roadway in the future.
