Based on the Selian 2nd coal mine engineering geological background, using FLAC3D numerical simulation software, in-depth analysis to solve the problem of soft rock roadway surrounding rock stability in roadway water softening conditions. The simulation on the basis of fully considering the site geological conditions, the surrounding rock of roadway were used respectively to meet before the water softening, water softening after two kinds of schemes, and the plastic zone distribution in excavation engineering, the maximum principal stress, displacement of surrounding rock at any step change characteristics were analyzed. The results show that, surrounding rock with water softening of rock plastic damage increased significantly, indicating that soft rock roadway surrounding rock with the rock mechanics parameters decreased damage and the simulation results for surrounding rock of late support optimization design provides certain scientific basis.
