Based on many mining roadways were located in coal seam during thick seam mining,the auxiliary　roadwaywould be affected by mining facen in double tunneling working faces．Instability of roadway woulf occur becauseof weak overall stability of coal roadway roof．Local caving instability occurred in the first mining face due to mining　influence．Main factors leading to roof fall were  concluded  on the basis of its instability characteristics and influence oactors.Corrsponding treatment scheme and precautionary measures were put forwar.
