Production safety accidents always occurred seriously because of excessive gas content caused by obstructed roadway ventilation, especially in the process of coal mine roadway excavation. There was a need to take forced ventilation in driving face when the distance between roadway driving face and connection roadway was too large. In order to study airflow characteristics in roadway ventilation process, the commercial fluid software CFX was used to make?numerical simulation during coal mine roadway excavation, which obtained distribution of airflow to provide reference for selection and optimization of subsequent ventilation parameters.
