Abstract: No.615 irregular working face in Liyazhuang Mine consists of two blocks with different inclined lengths: a block with a length of 110 m and a block with a length of 210 m. Based on the actual situation of the site, a numerical model was established for analysis, and it was concluded that the advance abutment pressure of the two working faces showed the distribution characteristics of "small in the middle and large in both sides", the length of the working face increased, the width of the advance stress concentration area increased and the maximum stress coefficient increased. The advance support distance of the gateway of the two working faces should be 20 m and 25 m, and both were in the stress peak area within the first 15 m, which was the key support area. At the same time, a single hydraulic prop combined with metal π-beam or advanced support was proposed to strengthen the super-front suppor, which realized the stability control of the surrounding rock of the advance section of the working face with different lengths during the mining period.
