In order to alleviate the tight situation of mining and replacement, improve the efficiency of mining and the stiffness and strength of roadway surrounding rock support, the overall stability of roadway support system was optimized, with theoretical calculation and ANSYS and FLAC numerical simulation. Based on the analysis, a new support scheme for short anchor-long anchor cable was proposed, and the new scheme was verified by roadway construction. The results showed that the new support scheme with a significant effect in practice, and the efficiency of mining was increased by 43%. The rapid mining of new technology reduced the labor intensity of workers to a certain extent, effectively alleviating the risk of mining disorder.
