In order to solve the problem of mining ratio misalignment caused by the change of coal seam thickness in the working face of Sanjiaohe Mine, appropriate measures should be taken to improve the tunneling speed of the roadway. Through numerical simulation and theoretical analysis, the distance between the empty roof distance of the heading face could be adjusted to 2 ~5 m, and the spacing between the roof bolts was adjusted to 900 mm × 1 000 mm. Field practice and observations showed that the scheme improved the daily advance of the roadway from 6 m to 9 m, which solved the problem of mining ratio imbalance.
