In order to design the supporting parameters of the newly added auxiliary return airway in Wujia Mine, the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation were used to investigate the damage of the surrounding rock in the driving face and guide the design of the supporting scheme. The numerical parameters were used to determine the reasonable parameters of the roof support: the length of the bolt was 2.8 m, the spacing was 0.9 m, the row spacing was 1.0 m, and the initial preload of the bolt should be above 80 kN. Practice showed that the program achieved good support effect and provided theoretical support and reference examples for mine and other mine roadway support.
