Abstract: With the hydrogeological conditions of Xinwang Mine as the engineering background, water accumulation in the mining area of each coal seam of Xinwang Mine was investigated and analyzed by means of field investigation and consulting water exploration and release data, and the height of hydraulic conductivity fracture zone of each coal seam was calculated. The results showed that the height of water-conducting fissure zone of coal seams 3, 7 and 11 in the mining field were all greater than the minimum seam spacing from the upper coal seam, therefore, water accumulation in the mining void area was a dangerous water-filled water source for the mine, water accumulation prevention and control measures in the mining void area of Xinwang Mine were proposed.
