The UDEC numerical calculation model is established for the strata movement rule under the repeated mining condition of No.8 coal seam and No.2+3 coal seam in Xiqu Mine. The strata movement characteristics, stress and its evolution rule were simulated and analyzed during the mining process of No.12401 and No.18401 mining area. The quantitative analysis of the secondary disturbance of the mining of the lower coal seam to the overburden of the upper coal seam and the secondary development of the original "two zones" height of the upper coal seam under the influence of the stress superposition was obtained. The research results showed that the mining of No.2+3 coal seam changed the stress distribution state of the original No. 8 coal seam. When the No.8 coal mining, two times of stress disturbance and pressure relief damage near the working face, the roof compressive strength was greater, and the stress concentration coefficient of the overburden goaf greater. Under the influence of coal seam repeated mining, the water conducting fracture zone of 18401 stope was connected with the gob of 12401 stope, which made the caving zone of 12401 stope increase from 11 m to 22 m, the water conducting fracture zone developed from 47 m to 58 m, and the proportion of caving zone in the water conducting fracture zone increased from 23.4% to 37.9%.
