In this paper, the height of "two zones" in 12401 stope of Xiqu coal mine was determined by the method of theoretical calculation and borehole TV, and the occurrence and distribution of fractures were obtained. The results showed that the height of the caving zone was about 10.7m in 12401 stope, and the height of the water conducting fracture zone was about 47.9 m; the joint fissures in the borehole were mainly distributed in the NW and SE directions, and the occurrence of the fissures was mainly in the slow dip angle, accounting for about 61% of the statistics; the gap width was mainly distributed in the range of 0 ~ 50 mm, of which the gap width of 10 ~ 20 mm accounted for about 47% of all the statistics. The research results deepened the understanding of the distribution of two zones and the occurrence law of corresponding fractures.
