Abstract: A high-performance liquid chromatography method has been established for the simultaneous determination of urea and biuret content in diesel vehicle exhaust treatment solution. The pretreatment technology of mobile phase dilution and direct membrane passing was adopted,methanol: potassium dihydrogen phosphate aqueous solution (0.074mol /L) =5:95 was used as the mobile phase for elution, and the samples were separated by C18 analytical column, and the content of the samples was detected by DAD detector.The experimental resulted show that urea and biuret had a good linear relationship within a series of concentration ranges, the correlation coefficients R2 were 0.999 4 and 0.999 6, the detection limits were 0.003 5 and 0.0002 mg/mL, the recovery rates were 100.1%~110.4%, and the relative standard deviation RSD were 0.4%~1.4%.This method is simple in sample pretreatment, simple and fast in analysis, and can be used for the detection and analysis of urea and biuret content in diesel vehicle exhaust treatment solution.
