With the deepening of mining in Linxi Mine, the problem of mining under water, building and roadway has become more and more prominent, the west wing of the twelve levels is the safety protection coal pillar of Jingshan Railway and villages, which seriously restricted the production and long-term development of the mine, collaborated with China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) for strip mining design. In February 2018, 2021-2 trial mining face was finished, and through collecting a lot of observation data and calculation analysis, it was concluded that the surface settlement achieved the expected effect and the surface deformation was controlled within the "three no principles", which provided technical support and scientific basis for the future exploration of the method of mining under the building. It provided technical support and scientific basis for future exploration of mining methods under buildings.
