In response to the problem of resources waste due to more coal under building in some villages in Dashucun Mine of Fengfeng Group, the mine adjusted the mining plan of 172404 working surface by optimizing the original long strip arrangement into an irregular knife-shaped strip, from the original 70 m mining width to 125 m in the inner section and 70 m mining width in the outer section, the results showed that the plan maximized the recovery rate of resources within the allowed range of building deformation, liberating about 200,000 tons of stagnant coal, increasing the benefit of about 40 million yuan.
