In order to make sure safe, scientific and effective of spontaneous combustion in isolated working face, technology of buried pipe monitoring along the inlet and return air roadway was adopted, index gas concentration of O2, CO, CO2, CH4 in goaf was monitored terminally, distribution range of goaf spontaneous combustion "three belts" was settled by O2 content, combined with the theory of goaf coal spontaneous combustion, the distribution characteristics of "three zones" in goaf and the change rule of gas concentration was analyzed. The result showed that CO and (CO/CO2) reflected goaf spontaneous combustion danger area, gob spontaneous combustion was studied by monitoring gas concentration, providing scientific reference for fire prevention and control in isolated working face.
