Fire hazard in goaf is of great significance of safe mining, especially the “three zones” partition directly affects the safe mining and economic benefit. 15101 working face of some mine was taken as study object, “three zones” of the fully mechanized working face goaf was studied by field measurement, goaf intake air side 37 ~ 75 m, return air side were oxidized zone,  goaf intake air side 75 m, return air choking area 56 m within were choking area, The temperature index of "three zones" in goaf divided by temperature, cooling zone in goaf without any law, goaf with temperature rise rate 0.1 ℃/d～0.3 ℃/d, then oxidizing zone, without temperature change, goaf then choking area.
