Based on the theoretical study and field practice of the development height of "two zones" at the working face, the development height of "two zones" in the 2-2 coal seam at the 205 working face of Longde Mine was measured by using the observation of flushing fluid leakage and color TV observation. The results showed that the actual measurement of overburden damage height was the best way to accurately grasp the overburden damage height; the observation of drilling flushing fluid leakage and color TV observation was an intuitive and effective technical means to determine the height of the "two zones"; the "two zones" development height of the 2-2 coal seam at the 205 working face of Longde Mine was determined, as well as the development height of the "two belts" in the 2-2 coal seam, which provided technical support for the mine to develop safe and effective water control measures.
