Abstract：Sima Mine 1208 transportation roadway mining with 560 m, where the roadway with water phenomenon in 1207 goaf area, resulting in serious coal flakes on the roadway side and great difficulty in supporting. In response to this problem, it was decided to adopt reasonable and effective water exploration and release construction technology for the adjacent 1207 goaf area. After adopting the water exploration and release technology for 1207 mining area, a total of 7,455 m3 of water in the mining area was explored and released during the later mining process, which eliminated the hidden danger of water damage in the mining area and ensured the safe and rapid mining, with remarkable application results.
