Mining hydraulic support is an important supporting equipment underground. ZY12000 hydraulic support of Selian Mine in Datong Group was taken as an example, the existing problems of the existing hydraulic support in the mine were analyzed, the structural analysis model was established, and the hydraulic support was developed. The structural performance of the middle roof beam and the base under the eccentric load condition of the roof beam was found. The deformation law of the two components during the stress was found, and the hydraulic support was improved and designed. The practical application showed that the structural strength of the improved hydraulic support, the top beam and the base was obviously improved, which had better support effect and reduced the equipment maintenance rate.
