The traditional ending support form of coal mining face adopted DJB-1000 articulated top beam with DW-35 and DW-28 single hydraulic prop support. With low strength of the support, large labor intensity, difficult management of the roadway, and the top coal face could not be recovered by the top coal face, resulting in great waste of resources. In order to eliminate these problems, after analysis and research, the hydraulic support at the end of the top coal face was developed and put into use at the 9202C working face of the north shaft. Practice showed that the support solved the problem of the end support of the top coal working face and realized the recovery of the top coal.
