Abstract: Based on the current situation that the surrounding rock deformation of the large section roadway in the west wing belt roadway of Licun Mine was large and the repeated maintenance was still difficult to control, through the geomechanical evaluation of the surrounding rock of the roadway, the stability classification result of the surrounding rock of the west wing belt roadway was obtained as Class III medium stable surrounding rock ; a set of targeted roadway surrounding rock control scheme was proposed, that was, the surrounding rock was reinforced by shallow hole directional grouting, and then the anchor cable control scheme was optimized. The industrial test results showed that the proposed surrounding rock control technology effectively solved the problem of large deformation of surrounding rock in large section roadway of belt roadway in the west wing of Licun Coal Mine, and provided a reference for the surrounding rock control of large section roadway under similar geological conditions in the mine.
