Abstract: Aiming at the problems of roadway roof breakage in large section during excavation of Longquan Mine, according to the geological conditions of No.8125 Face, a reasonable excavation process was selected, and the support scheme design of roadway roof and two sides was carried out. The actual field observation showed that after the combined support was used, the support effect was obviously strengthened after 18 days of excavation, the roof reached the stable area, the subsidence rate was basically 0, the combined support effect was remarkable, and the stability of roadway surrounding rock was improved.
