Abstract: Rotary platform is the key structural component of the roadheader, and the operation stability has an important influence on the overall performance of the roadheader. Taking the EBZ300 roadheader in Malan Mine as the research object, the fatigue life of the rotary platform is analyzed by Ansys software. It is found that the fatigue life of the four pin shaft parts is the lowest, which restricts the overall service life of the rotary platform. The size of four pin shafts was optimized, and the fatigue life of the rotary platform was increased from 35 468 times to 41 256 times. The optimized rotary platform is applied to the engineering practice of the roadheader. The field application shows that the overall effect is good, which lays a solid foundation for the operation reliability of the roadheader.
