The existing EBZ160 type excavator running track plate structure in Sihe Mine had defects in practical application. In response to this situation, the structure was optimized and improved by adding a number of landing strips, and an optimized walking mechanism model was built based on ADAMS software to simulate the working conditions of the walking mechanism with obstacles, the traction torque values before and after optimization were analyzed. Practice showed that the optimization was effective in automatically removing the mud stuck in the track plate structure and avoiding the slippage caused by the excess mud stuck in the track plate.
