Study on the optimization of soft rock roadway support under mining disturbance and its application effect

Abstract: To address the problem of easy deformation and difficult support of soft rock roadway under complex geological conditions, a soft rock tunnel in No.3301 Face was taken as the research object, and FLAC3D software was used to conduct numerical simulation. The stress and deformation characteristics of the surrounding rock under the existing geological features and mining disturbance were analyzed and studied, and the relevant mechanisms that induced large deformation of the surrounding rock of the soft rock tunnel were discussed. A reasonable optimization scheme design was proposed for the original tunnel support parameters. The field monitoring results before and after optimization were compared and analyzed. The results showed that the optimized tunnel support parameters could effectively control the surrounding rock deformation, and reduce the convergence of roof and floor and the deformation of sidewalls by more than 50%, ensuring the stability of the tunnel.
