Abstract: Due to the special stratum characteristics of inclined coal seam, the surrounding rock stress of the mining roadway presents asymmetric characteristics, which makes the support difficulty of inclined coal seam roadway higher than that of horizontal coal seam. In order to solve the unbalanced stress that seriously affected the stability of the roadway and the surplus of the original support, No.5301 Face of Shanxi Huangyanhui Mine was taken as an example, the surrounding rock stress of the right angle trapezoid roadway under the conditions of different anchor cable arrangement, angle and number of top bolts was analyzed by the numerical simulation software FLAC3D, so as to determine the optimal support parameters. The results showed that the numerical simulation effect was optimal when the anchor cables were arranged in "3-3-3" and perpendicular to the roadway roof, and the number of roof bolts was 6. At the same time, according to the field observation results of rock pressure, the optimized support parameters could effectively guarantee the stability of the right angle trapezoid roadway.
