Abstract: Reasonable mining layout, protective layer mining, coal seam loosening and blasting, and coal seam water injection are the main methods in rock burst control at home and abroad. But the effects of coal seam loosening blasting, coal seam water injection and other technologies are limited. In order to explore the prevention and control effect of new pre-splitting technology on rock burst, No.93down09 Face of Shandong Nantun Mine were taken as the engineering background, theoretical analysis and on-site testing were used to carry out advanced high-energy gas pre-splitting technology. According to the actual situation of the face, the pre-split hole depths were determined to be 25 m and 70 m, and the drilling spacing was 10 m and 15 m. On-site microseismic, borehole stress monitoring and drill cuttings monitoring showed that the high-energy gas-generating agent pre-splitting technology could effectively reduce the working face pressure and achieve the effect of rock burst.
