Abstract:Aiming at the deformation and failure of 8128 intake roadway under the condition of extra thick mudstone roof in Xinjing Coal Mine, the failure characteristics of roadway roof were analyzed by field observation and experimental analysis, and the support parameters were optimized. The field practice results show that after adopting the optimized support scheme, the maximum roof subsidence of roadway during tunneling is 111.3 mm, the maximum displacement of two sides is 72.8 mm, the maximum roof subsidence during mining is 374 mm, and the maximum displacement of two sides is 248 mm. The overall deformation of surrounding rock is small, which meets the needs of mine safety production.
