In order to effectively recover the remaining coal resources in No.2129 Face of Xingdong Coal Mine under the influence of various geological factors such as ground pressure in deep mining area, serious roadway deformation, and gas emission from goaf, a series of comprehensive gas control technologies were adopted, such as sealing gas release by spraying chemical slurry, rational use of gas drainage system, adjustment of two-level ventilation system to increase the air volume of working face, and sealing goaf gas by sandbag wall at the corner of inlet and outlet air. The results show that the gas concentration of the return air flow is stable at 0.2%, and the treatment effect is obvious, which can effectively reduce the gas emission of the working face.
