Abstract：The regional outburst prevention measures of pre-drainage of gas in strip area of coal roadway in Sijiazhuang Coal Mine are mainly adopted.However, there are some shortcomings such as long construction time, high cost, long drainage standard time and poor industrial hygiene standardization in drilling site. Aiming at this problem, taking 15114 working face of Sijiazhuang Mine as the research object, the gas control technology of ' small coal pillar ' was tested. Practice shows that the application of ' small coal pillar ' gas control technology reduces the number of drilling construction, shortens the time of drainage standard, realizes safe and rapid tunneling, effectively solves the problem of tight mining connection, fully releases mine production capacity and creates economic benefits.
