With the upgrading of coal mine machinery and equipment, the speed of advancing the working face had been greatly improved, achieving high yield and efficiency, but the speed of roadway excavation was slow, and there were problems in the process of mining replacement tension. Based on the engineering background of the belt mining in Mugua Mine, the factors affecting the mining speed were analyzed, and the improvement measures were taken from the aspects of construction preparation, from support form and management level. The practice showed that this technology accelerated the mining speed, ensured the safety level of the working area, and relieved the problem of the displacement tension of the working face.
