Taking Wutongzhuang Mine as an example, problems and countermeasures of construction and control design of Ordovician limestone area were discussed. There were lots of problems in design and construction process of Early Ordovician limestone area management project in Wutongzhuang Mine, such as: hole collapse and burying drilling accidents, high angle change rate, branch hole horizontal section length was not up to the design requirements, low grouting speed and long hole cleaning cycle etc. Based on long-term practice and research, as well as further improvement of construction process and technology, Ordovician limestone karst water ahead of concept of governance was formed and “regional governance in advance” technology was put forward, which had great promotion value on safety mining of deep coal resources in Handan and Xingtai mines.
