Complicated hydrogeological condition area was often deeply threatened by soleplate of concealed water structure, high water level anomaly flood disaster, especially concealed water structure conducting aquifer in Ordovician limestone, such as no figuring out before mining, which would be a great potential safety hazard. In order to ensure the safety mining of the working face and liberate coal reserves, complex area hydrogeology situation was needed to find out through reasonable means. Detection and management of two hydrological complex working face which were 2120( 3 ) and 2022 respectively had been successfully implemented in Fangezhuang Mine. The detection showed that karst subsided column of concealed water conductivity existed in 2022 which successfully avoided flooding accidents, and in-plane hydrogeological condition of 2120 ( 3 ) was successfully checked out which achieved safety mining of working face finally. Taking detection and governance of 2120 ( 3 ) working face as an example, experience and technology of hydrological complex area detection were analyzed and summarized, which provided reference to similar working face detection and safety mining.
