Abstract: Roof high-level directional drilling combined with upper corner buried pipe drainage is the main means to solve the gas accumulation in goaf of fully mechanized mining face and the high concentration of return air flow gas. During the period of roof high-level directional drilling drainage of goaf gas accumulation, the influence of different ventilation methods on drilling drainage is different. Through monitoring the drainage amount of high-level directional drilling in the roof of W3309 fully mechanized working face in Changcun Coal Mine under two different ventilation modes, the results show that the drainage amount of high-level directional drilling in the roof with two-in-one-return pre-return is more than 10 m3/ min higher than that with three-in-one-return post-return, and the gas concentration in the return air flow of the working face decreases by 0.23 %. The two-in-one-return pre-return is more conducive to the drainage of high-level directional drilling in the roof than the three-in-one-return post-return, and the gas control effect of the fully mechanized working face is obvious. At the same time, by analyzing the adverse factors of the three-in-one-loop rear return air ventilation mode on the drainage effect, and optimizing the high-level drainage borehole, the low gas drainage concentration and the high gas concentration of the return air flow in the working face under the three-in-one-loop rear return air ventilation mode are effectively solved.
